5.0 WL31 SYSTEM OPERATION
5.1 CONTROLS’ POSITION AND USE
Alphanumeric keys
These enable you to input characters and number and to directly access the
different menu items.
Menu keys
These enable you to surf the menu.
ESC
: this goes up by one level in the menu tree.
This moves to the next item in the menu.
This goes back to the previous item in the menu.
OK
: this moves to the sub-menu or validates the displayed choice.
Damage LED
This signals the presence of damage in the system.
Alarms LED
This signals the presence of active events or the presence of alarms in the control
panel memory.
Twilight detector
This detects the level of environmental light and prevents the keyboard back-lighting
if there is enough light. Its purpose is to reduce consumption and so to extend the
batteries’ life.
LCD Display
This shows the system status, the programmed functions, the date and the time
through specific icons.
It also shows the control panel
messages during the system’s programming.
Function keys
These are keys which can be programmed for quick execution of controls or alarms.
It is possible to personalize these keys using coloured labels which make the choice
of the relating control comfortable and intuitional.
