8.57 RADIO PARAMETERS - CHOOSE CHANNEL [801]
Menu >Maintenance > Maintenance - Radio Parameters > Radio Parameters - Choose channel

Purpose:
This enables the manual selection of the channel used by the control panel.
How to do it:
1. Press the
OK
key. The display shows the available radio channels.
2. Select the required channel using the
and
keys.
3. Press
OK
to confirm your choice.
8.58 RADIO PARAMETERS - SYSTEM COD. MOD [802]
Menu >Maintenance > Maintenance - Radio Parameters > Radio Parameters - System code mod
Authorization level:
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
This enables the modification of the system code, which is the code that univo
cally identifies all the system’s devices,
in order to avoid that the control panel recognizes devices belonging to other systems. The control panel already sets
the system code at random, so this function must only be used when the system code must be modified.
How to do it:
1. Press
OK
. The display shows the «System cod. mod» message with a flashing cursor.
2. Input a 6 figures numeric code of your choice and press the
OK
key.
8.59 MAINTENANCE - ACQUIRE DEVICES [81]
Menu > Maintenance > Maintenance - Acquire devices
Authorization level:
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
This prepares the control panel for the acquisition of new devices. For the operations to be carried out on the
devices to be acquired, please refer to the
Devices Acquisition section
. During these operations the
transmission
power is intentionally reduced
in order to safeguard the transmitted data security.
How to do it:
1. Press the
OK
key
. The display shows the message «Acquisition underway…»: the control panel is ready to
acquire new devices.
2. Acquire the different devices according to the procedure described in the
Installation manual
. As the devices
are acquired, the display shows messages which indicate the type of device acquired and the address it has
been given. The possible messages are as follows:
«IRnn Acquisition - Infrared», where nn shows the address (from 1 to 32) of the acquired infrared detector.
«MMnn Acquisition - Contact», where nn shows the address (from 1 to 32) of the acquired magnetic contact
detector
«KPnn Acquisition - Keyboard», where nn shows the address (from 1 to 4) of the acquired keyboard.
«TXnn Acquisition - Remote control», where nn shows the address (from 1 to 8) of the acquired remote
control.
« HPnn Acquisition - Ext. Siren», where nn shows the address (from 1 to 4) of the acquired external siren.
«Fonn Acquisition
– Smoke detector », where nn shows the address (from 1 to 32) of the acquired smoke
detector
