OPTIONS
Masking
(authorized/ unauthorized): this enables you to mask the system status for unauthorized people,
switching all the key visualizations off. To reactivate them it is necessary to input a valid code.
CENTRAL KEYBOARD
UNAUTHORIZED MASKING: the display shows system information (active sectors, signalling icons with relevant
details, alarm memories, failures, etc) in real time.
AUTHORIZ
ED MASKING: the display shows only the symbol “home” empty and time/date. All the other indications
are not displayed. They can be displayed (for about 1 minute) by entering a valid code. Exit from this condition is
given by timeout or by pressing ESC.
REMOTE KEYBOARD
UNAUTHORIZED MASKING: to display system information (for about 20 seconds) press key #.
AUTHORIZED MASKING: system information not displayed. To display system information (for about 20 seconds)
enter a valid code and press key # to confirm.
NOTE
: every change in system status (by remote control or keyboard), will display all signallings (sectors and
icons, if any settori) for about 5 seconds.
Function keys
: these open a sub menu which enables you to associate each F1…F5 key with one of the following
functions:
Control
, such as «Deactivate», which deactivates the selected system or sector or selected output; «Activate»,
which activates the selected system or sector or selected output;«Toggle», which cyclically activates and
deactivates the sel
ected system, sector or output. The output must be programmed into “service”; «Fire», which
generates a fire alarm, or «Fire Reset », which resets the fire alarm
Alarm
, this is used to cause the activation of an alarm (Fire, Silent panic, Panic-sirens, or Emergency).
Nominate
: this enables you to associate a description name of maximum length of 10 characters to the keyboard,
thus making its following identification easier.
Warning
: it is advisable to always nominate the key pads. See par.

Software
edition
(VERS. SW. DEVICE): this supplies information on the device software edition.
Copy
: this enables the duplication of the programming carried out on all the system devices of the same type (or
only on some, chosen from a list). This function is very useful to reduce the system installation time, since with one
operation only it is possible to configure many devices.
Associate / not associate
: this enables you to allocate the keyboard to the system or to a specific sector.

Purpose:
This enables the system advanced level programming.
8.47 ADVANCED - SYSTEM CODE (Remote Management) [650]
Menu > Programming > Programming - Advanced > Advanced - System code
Authorization level:
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
This enables the visualization or modification of the system code for remote management..
How to do it:
1. Press
OK
to confirm.
2. The system code is displayed (default: 55555555). If you want to keep it, press OK to confirm; if not, digit an 8
figures number. Confirm your choice by pressing the
OK
key.
