8.39 INPUTS - PERIMETER SENS. [612]
Menu > Programming > Programming - Inputs > Inputs - Perimeter sens.
Authorization level:
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
This enables the configuration of the MM30WL magnetic contact detectors.
How to do it
:
1. Press the
OK
key and use the
and
keys to choose the detector from the magnetic contact detector
s’
list.
2. Confirm your choice by pressing the
OK
key.
3. Use
and
buttons to choose between magnetic contact («Contact») and detector auxiliary inputs
(«AUX 1» and «AUX 2»); confirm your choice pressing OK button.
4. Use the keys
and
to choose between «Specialization», «Nominate», «Vers. SW Device» and
«Copy» (for contact); confirm your choice by pressing the
OK
key.
5. Use the
,
and
OK
keys to scroll the different options and confirm your choice.
OPTIONS
Specialize
: this sets the type of MM30WL magnetic contact detector, which can be as follows:
ISTANTANEOUS: when the system or sector is active, the contact opening generates immediately the
alarm.
DELAYED: when the system or sector is active, the contact opening does not generate the alarm until the
output delay time has elapsed (OUTPUT DELAY TIME, see SECTORS CONFIGURATION - SECTORS).
When the contact is open, the alarm is generated only after the input delay time has elapsed (INPUT
DELAY TIME, see SECTORS - CONFIG. SECTORS). To avoid the alarm it is necessary to deactivate the
system, the simple closure of the system is not enough.
Nominate
: this enables you to associate a description name of a maximum length of 10 characters to the input,
thus making its following identification easier.
Warning
: it is advisable to always nominate the Inputs. See par. 6.9.
ENTERING ALPHANUMERIC CHARACTERS THROUGH THE KEYBOARD, page 44.
Software
edition
(VERS. SW DEVICE.): this supplies information on the device software edition.
Copy
: this enables the duplication of the programming carried out on all the system devices of the same type (or
only on some, chosen from a list). This function is very useful to reduce the system installation time, since with one
operation only it is possible to configure many devices.
Excludible/Non excludible
: this enables you to exclude or not the detector form the system. For security reasons
it is advisable to avoid exclusion (manual or automatic) of the most important detectors.
Associate/not associate
: this enables you to allocate the system detector to a specific sector.
Authorize/unauthorize gong
: this enables you to obtain an acoustic signalling from the control panel or from the
external siren when the detector is stimulated and the system is deactivated.
Norm open/norm closed
: this enables to set the type of auxiliary input (N.O. or N.C.) according to the device to be
connected.
Use
: this enables the setting of the type of device to be connected with the auxiliary input (Normal = magnetic
contact, Inertial = inertial vibrator, Shutter = rope contact for shutter).
Input sensitivity
(auxiliary input): level of sensitivity when the «Inertial» or «Shutter» type are set. This can vary
from level 1 = high to level 4 = low.
Mechanical key
: every switching cause the change of status of sectors connected to the involved input. The device
connected to the mechanical key programmed input must be of the impulse type.
Examples of use
:
Delayed: when a keyboard is used to activate or deactivate the system (it is necessary to set an amount of
time necessary to input/output before the alarm starts).
