8.34 SECTORS - NUMBER SECTORS [600]

– Sectors > Number sectors
Authorization level:
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
This enables you to choose the number of sectors into which the system must be divided. The possible options are
as follows:
System 1 Sect., which means that the system is not divided (pre-set value),
System 2 Sect., which means that the system is divided into two sectors,
System 3 Sect., which means that the system is divided into two sectors,
System 4 Sect., which means that the system is divided into two sectors.
How to do it
:
1. Press
OK

2. Using the
and
keys, select the number of sectors into which you want to divide the system and
confirm your choice by pressing the
OK
key.
CAUTION!
To decrease the number of sectors, the sector to be cancelled must not be linked (e.g.: to devices,
codes, time programmer controls). Otherwise the operation is rejected and a prohibition message is displayed.

Authorization level :
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
This enables you to personalize the different sectors. The parameters which can be modified are the following:
Type
: each system or sector can be configured into the following types:
STANDARD: when the system or sector activation is started and some of the doors or windows are not
closed, the INTRUSION alarm is set off (pre-set value);
AUTO-EXCLUSION: when the system or sector activation is started - and some of the inputs are not
closed - the system, or sector, is activated and excludes the open inputs.
Warning
: auto-exclusion is only
carried out if the interested input is of the “excludible type” (see SPECIALIZATION parameter in the Inputs
configuration);
ACTIVATION LOCK: when the system or sector activation is started and some inputs are not closed, the
relating system or sector does not activate.
Delay time
(DEL TIME): it is possible to program two delay times for each sector or for the system:
OUTPUT DEL TIME: this sets the delay time to be allocated to the stimulations of outputs of the delayed
time when the system or sector is activated (see OUTPUTS PROGRAMMING). It can vary from 5 seconds
to 1.5 minutes;
INPUT DEL TIME: this sets the delay time to be associated with the stimulations of Inputs of the delayed
time when the system or sector is activated (see INPUTS PROGRAMMING). It can vary from 5 seconds to
1.5 minutes.
To modify a time, input the new time required and press the
OK
key.
Sector name:
this enables the allocation
of a description name of a maximum of 10 characters to each system’s
sector, thus making its following identification easier. The name must be input using the keyboard.
Warning
: it is
advisable to always nominate the sectors. See par. 6.9. ENTERING ALPHANUMERIC CHARACTERS THROUGH
THE KEYBOARD, page 44.
How to do it
:
1. Press

to confirm it.
3. Using the keys

select the parameter do be modified and press the
OK
key to confirm it.
4. Using the keys

select the new parameter value and press
OK
to confirm it.
