8.74 PSTN PARAMETERS - SELECTION TYPE [940]

Purpose
This enables the setting of the telephone selection method, decadica or multifrequency (DTMF). The chosen
method must correspond with the type of selection authorised by the telephone control panel.
How to do it
:
1. Press the
OK
key and use the

keys to choose between «Decadica selection type» and «DTMF
selection type».
2. Confirm your choice by pressing the
OK
key.
8.75 PSTN PARAMETERS
– STANDARD NATION [941]
Menu > Telephonic Trx - PSTN parameters > PSTN parameters - Standard nation

Purpose
This enables you to adapt the communicator to the standards of the PSTN telephone line of the different nations.
How to do it
:
1. Press the
OK
key and use the

keys to choose the nation. The possible nations are: Italy, France,
Germany, Austria, Czech Rep, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Greece, England.
2. Confirm your choice by pressing the
OK
key.
8.76 PSTN PARAMETERS - PABX DERIVATE [942]
Menu > Telephonic Trx - PSTN parameters > PSTN parameters - PABX derivate

Purpose
This enables the automatic inputting, before any other telephone call, of the figure required to use the external
phone line when the communicator is connected with a telephone switchboard (PABX).
How to do it
:
1 Press the
OK
key and use the
and
keys to chose between «PABX Derivate YES» and «PABX
Derivate NO».
2 If you have chosen «PABX Derivate YES» the message «PABX derivate» is shown with a flashing cursor. Using
the keyboard insert the figure which enables you to carry out an external phone call (0 to 9) - verify the
telephone switchboard characteristics, and confirm by pressing the
OK
key.
