8.81 CYCLIC CALL [97]
Menu > Telephonic Trx - Cyclic call
Authorisation level:
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
This enables the activation of automatic cyclic test calls to the remote management or telesurveillance Centers, if
these require a periodic confirmation that the system is working properly and of its telephone connection.
The control panel periodically sends the calls on a number to be selected among the programmed ones (numeric,
or modem). Each cyclic call test is recorded in detail in the event memory. The sending of the cyclic call depends
upon the ON state of the system.
How to do it :
1. Press the
OK
key and use the

keys to choose between «Cyclical phone call - Deactive», «Cyclic
phone call - Authorized».
2.
If you choose “Authorized”, the list of phone numbers (numbers, modem) is displayed (if programmed)
3. Select the desired number and press OK to confirm
4. Enter the hour of call synchronism and press OK to confirm
5. Select the interval between the calls. Possible options: 1, 4. 8. 12, 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 1244 or 168 hours.
6. Confirm your choice by pressing the
OK
key.
8.82 TELESURVEILLANCE BACKUP [98]

Purpose:
This manages the calls relating to all events to an Alarm reception centre and avoids double calls.
When the Backup function is active, if a phone call is successful (acknowledged as received), no further calls will
be sent for the same event on the numbers programmed with the same send type. Otherwise, if the first call is not
successful (acknowledged as not received), the communicator sends the same call to the following number, and so
on, until it obtains a correct send/reception of the event to be transmitted (or until the number of attempts is
finished).
When the Backup function is deactivated, the communicator in any case carries out the phone calls to all the
numbers of the Alarm Reception Centers and to all the numbers programmed to be used as a modem. The factory
setting is with the active Backup.
How to do it:

2. Confirm your choice by pressing the
