Excludible/Non excludible

: this enables you to exclude or not the input from the system. For security reasons it is

advisable to avoid exclusion (manual or automatic) of the most important Inputs.

N.B. FIRE INPUTS CANNOT BE EXCLUDED.

Associated/not associated

: this enables to associate the system input with a specific sector.

N.B.

a fire input may not be associated to the whole system. In this way the fire alarm is only given by the sirens

associated to certain sectors.

Authorize/unauthorize gong

: this enables you to obtain an acoustic signalling from the  control panel or from the

siren when the input is stimulated and the system is deactivated.

Examples of use

Delayed: when a keyboard is used to activate or deactivate the system (it is necessary to set an amount of
time necessary to input/output before the alarm starts).

Panic: this is used to discourage an attempted INTRUSION with acoustic signalling.

Silent panic: this is used to send a quiet alarm during an on-going theft.

Fire: for smoke and temperature detectors.

Technological: for flooding detectors.

keys to scroll down the different options and to confirm your choice.

OPTIONS

Specialize

: this sets the type of IR30WL detector, which can be as follows:

ISTANTANEOUS:  when  the  system  or  sector  is  active  and  the  circuit  connected  with  the  input  is  open,
the alarm is immediately generated.

DELAYED: when the system or sector is active and the circuit connected with the output is open, the alarm
is  generated  only  after  the  output  delay  time  has  elapsed  (OUTPUT  DELAY  TIME,  see  SECTORS
CONFIGURATION  -  SECTORS). When  the  system  or  sector  is  active  and  the  circuit  connected  with  the
input  is  open,    the  alarm  is  generated  only  after  the  input  delay  time  has  elapsed  (INPUT  DELAY  TIME,
see   SECTORS - CONFIG. SECTORS). To avoid the alarm it is necessary  to deactivate the system, the
simple closure of the system is not enough.

Nominate

: this enables you to allocate a description name of maximum length of 10 characters to the input, thus

making  its  following  identification  easier.

Warning

:  it  is  advisable  to  always  nominate  the  Inputs.  See  par.  6.9.

ENTERING ALPHANUMERIC CHARACTERS THROUGH THE KEYBOARD, page 44.

Software

edition

(Vers. SW Device): this supplies information on the device software edition.

Copy

: this enables the duplication of the programming carried out on all the system devices of the same type (or

only on some, chosen from a list). This function is very useful to reduce the system installation time, since with one
operation only it is possible to configure many devices.

1  Impulse/2  Impulse

:  this  enables  the  selection  of  the  detector  impulses  counting  criteria,  which  means  its

detection sensitivity, in order to adapt it to the environmental conditions.

Excludible/Non excludible

: this enables you to exclude or not the detector from the system. For security reasons

it is advisable to avoid exclusion (manual or automatic) of the most important detectors.

Associate/not associate

: this enables you to allocate the system detector to a specific sector.

Authorize/unauthorize gong

: this enables you to obtain an acoustic signalling from the  control panel or from the

external siren when the detector is stimulated and the system is deactivated.

Examples of use

Delayed: when a keyboard is used to activate or deactivate the system (it is necessary to set an amount of
time necessary to input/output before the alarm starts).
