8.5. Firmware update
We recommend that you update your BAPPU-evo as soon as new firmware is
available. The appropriate update data is available from our website.
Copy the data onto a USB flash device, and insert this into the USB port of your
BAPPU-evo. In the “Settings” menu, select “Update”.
By pressing BAPPU-evo will start to search for the data and check it. The
symbol indicates that the data has been checked. Press “Start” (F3) to install the
firmware update.
8.6. User Init
By selecting User-Init, the factory settings can be restored thus returning the device to
the original delivery status.
Caution: All data stored in the device will be deleted. Counter
data is not deleted.
8.7. Measurement profile (Profile)
This allows you to select the measuring range that is to be shown in the measurement
sequence. A comprehensive explanation of how the profile can be edited can be found
on page 18, chapter 5.1 “Modifying the measurement profile (Profile).
