Using the optional noise level measurement calibrator
For checking the accuracy of the noise level
measurement, especially in cases when the device
hasn't been used for some time, we recommend
recalibrating the device using the optional calibrator.
In cases of special environmental conditions, such
as high ceilings or high humidity levels, BAPPU-evo
should be checked using the calibrator before and
after the measurement has been made.
In order to recalibrate BAPPU-evo, please follow the
following steps: When you are in the process of
using the measurement designation “Noise” to take
a measurement (please refer to page Fehler:
Referenz nicht gefunden, chapter Fehler: Referenz
nicht gefunden “Fehler: Referenz nicht gefunden”).
By clicking
you will access noise level
calibration mode.
In order to carry out the calibration, the calibrator should be connected to the front side
of the housing, at the pointed end of the device using the adaptor. Following this, press
or “adjust” on the display and the recalibration will start.
Caution:
Please ensure you deduct the correction factors
pertaining to the calibrator. These are printed on the
corresponding adaptor.
