Chapter Four Maintenance
4.1 Introduction
This chapter describes all maintenance activities recommended for the electrical parts of
ER15-1400. It is based on the maintenance plan introduced at the beginning of this chapter. The
plan contains information on required maintenance activities (including maintenance intervals)
and refers to the operating procedures for these activities.
For the maintenance activities of the robot body, please refer to "ER15-1400 industrial
Robot Mechanical Maintenance Manual".
Warning
1. Please check all safety information before starting any maintenance work!
2. Before performing any maintenance work, please read the safety content in
Chapter 1 of this manual. This safety information introduces general safety
guidelines. You should also read the "Efort Robot Safety Manual" carefully.
3. If you want to connect to the ER15-1400, make sure to ground the ER15-1400

Mandatory Measures
1. Only personnel who have received proper training and carefully read the
instruction manual or skilled operation professionals can carry out all
maintenance, repair, adjustment, and cleaning, etc.
2. Only use suitable tools for maintenance and repair work. When working on
electrical components, only insulated reactance tools can be used.
3. Only professional personnel are allowed to maintain electrical equipment.
4. When performing maintenance, you must wear personal protective equipment
and use undamaged maintenance tools.
5. If the ambient lighting is insufficient, install a local light source for
maintenance work or use suitable portable equipment.
6. Also unplug the plug from the power supply before the ON/OFF switch
performs any work.
7. If the power cord of the industrial robot is damaged, it is a potential danger
and must be replaced immediately.
8. In the case of replacement (due to cutting, tearing, etc.), the cable connecting
the electrical cabinet to the facility power socket must have a suitable
cross-sectional area to meet the length of the cable and the installed power.
9. Only the same spare parts or those authorized in advance by the manufacturer
can be used to replace the original ones.
