AREA AND EQUIPMENT INSPECTION
Inspeel the area belore using the unit. Remove objects the
unit could throw. Remember where !here are obstructions
to be avoided.
Inspeel the unit belore using it. Pertorm only maintenance
or adjustments lor which the operators Manual gives
instruction. Do not try to repair the unit without proper
instruction. The unit should be serviced only by trained
ECHO dealer servicemen with the proper tools.
Be sure !hal:
a) Engine does not leak fuel.
b) Fasteners are light, and none are missing.
UNTERSUCHUNG DES EINSATZGEBIETS
UND DES GERÄTS
Das Einsatzgebiet is! vor Benutzung des Geräts gründlich
zu untersuchen. Alle Objekte entfernen, die evtl. vom Gerät
hochgeschleudert werden könnten. Merken Sie sich, wo
Hindernisse sind.
Das Gerät vor dem Einsatz untersuchen. Nur diejenigen
lnstandhaltungsaufgaben bzw. Justierungen vornehmen,
die in der Bedienungsanleitung vorgesehen sind.
Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät ohne ordnungsgemäBe
Anleitungzu reparieren. DasGerät dartnurvon geschultem
Wartungspersonal des ECHO Vertragshändlers gewartet
werden, das über die entsprechenden Werkzeuge vertügt.
Folgendes sicherstellen:
a) Es läuft kein Kraftstoff aus dem Motor aus.
b) Die Befestigungselemente sind festgezogen und
vollzählig.

Verificare che:
a) Dal motore non fuoriesca carburante.
b) 1 dispositivi di tenno siano fissati e non ne manchi
nessuno.

c) Silencer is in good condition.
d) The unit has the proper equipment-guard, handles,
harness, etc.-for the cutting attachment to be used.
e) Il used on the unit, the cutting attachment is properly
tightened.

mittels Splint und Muiter richtig befestigt, schart und
!rei von Spannungsrissen.

ALLGEMEINE BEMERKUNGEN ZUM
BETRIEB
Niemals das Gerät in geschlossenen oder schlecht
belüftbaren lnnenräumen benützen.

Kohlenmonoxyd. Das Einatmen kann tödlich sein.

Darauf achten, daB Sie keine Felsbrocken, Baumstümpfe

Start on ground with cutting attachment in the clear
Lay the unit down on a clear area and set the controls lor
starting. Be sure the cutting attachment can not contact the
ground or any obstruction.
Hold the unit firmly down so you will not lose control during
starting. Do not start the unit in the air, orfrom the harness.
