●
yellow: the system asks the rider to take prompt
action, for instance because automatic braking
is not sufficient to keep proper distance from
the vehicle ahead.
●
red: there is a system error. Speed control is not
active.
Attention
The rider should set the speed to a value that
the prevailing road, traffic and weather conditions as
well as applicable traffic laws permit. Otherwise,
sudden and unexpected acceleration or deceleration
could cause an accident and/or injury to the rider and
others.

Attention
It is up to the rider to exercise discretion to
select the appropriate setting given the prevailing
road, traffic and weather conditions, applicable
traffic laws, and recommendations for safe following
distance. The rider should ensure that he/she
maintains a sufficient and safe distance from the
vehicle ahead. The rider should adjust the distance
to the preceding vehicle if necessary.
Based on the distance icon, you can determine
whether the system is maintaining the distance of
the motorcycle from a vehicle ahead.
The four "distance bars" shown by the icon represent
the set distance from the vehicle ahead (see the
paragraph "Setting the distance").
The ACC distance icon can be:
●
gray: the system is on, but the speed control is
not active.
●
green without car: the system is on and speed
control is active. No vehicle ahead has been
detected. The set cruising speed is maintained.
●
green with car: the system is on and speed
control is active. A vehicle ahead has been
detected. The ACC adjusts the speed and
distance to the vehicle ahead and automatically
brakes and accelerates (within the limits
mentioned above).
●
yellow: the system asks the rider to take prompt
action, for instance because automatic braking
is not sufficient to keep proper distance from
the vehicle.
If you switch off the ACC or the ignition, the stored
cruising speed is deleted for safety reasons.
