6.0 DT400 Series Throttle Control Panel
6.1 General Information
The DT400 and DT400R are full function hand held throttle that includes 2
independent throttles and a common keypad to control, up to 14 functions (0-
12)*, turnouts and programming. The DT400 throttle does not require a battery
in normal walkaround operation. If you do not install a battery, the throttle dis-
play will be off while you are unplugged from the system. The DT400 requires
a 9 Volt battery for infrared operation. The DT400R requires a 9 Volt battery
for radio operation.
*DT400 can access F0-F12 with DCS50 & DCS100 command stations (Zephyr
& Super Chief) and F0-F8 with DB150 command station (Super Empire
Builder)

DB150 has powered on successfully or has sent a
programming command.
3 Beeps
A loco address has been "purged" due to non -use.
5 Beeps
Booster short circuit shutdown. Fault Alarm
6 Beeps
DB150 has been powered up as a command
station in a system that already has an active
command station.
9 Beeps
DB150 transmit failure, there is a device blocking
proper message action on LocoNet.
16 Beeps
Software timeout failure. No action is required,
the unit will resume operation.
Variable
clicks
Op switch 41 is closed. Diagnostic clicks will
sound when a valid LocoNet command is
received.
