4. Check that there are no branches off a ThinWire segment except
through a DEMPR multiport repeater.
A DEMPR provides eight ThinWire Ethernet connections from a single
standard Ethernet connection.
5. Check that a ThinWire segment is not looped from one port on the
DEMPR to another port on the DEMPR.
6. Check that the system unit’s T-connector has not been disconnected
from an operating ThinWire Ethernet segment.
CAUTION
If you need to remove a system from an active ThinWire
segment, simply disconnect the center of the T-connector from
the system, as shown.
