1 Description
Electrical safety
The varix 14 / varix 200 DSC meets the requirements of following standards:
EN 60950 August 1992 (DIN VDE 0805)
Safety of information technology equipment, including electrical business equipment.
EN 41003 May 1991 (DIN VDE 0804 Part 100)
Particular safety requirements for equipment to be connected to a telecommunications
nework.
ITU-T K.20
Protective isolation in accordance with EN 41003, Section 4.2.3
EMI emission
The following standards apply to the varix 14 D and varix 200 D:
- limit class B of EN 55022 (VDE 8789 Part 3), as well as
- VDE 878 Part 3.
Transmission
technology
Tests and measurements have been carried out on the individual interfaces in accordance
with the following standards, and the respective requirements are met by the hardware.
Analogue outside/trunk line interface module (HKAS), analogue user/subscriber line inter-
face module (ABTS) and a/b subscriber line interface of SATAS module
