Description varix 200/varix 14 (DECT)
1 - 39
1 Description
Incrementing means that the number on the counter increases by one whenever the described
event occurs.
- In each FP, 17 statistic counters are used
- Each counter can store 65534 events
- The counters are read out using the DECT Monitor program (component of SPC)
- Counter contents can be deleted or reset (exception: contents of counter 17 cannot be
deleted)
- Determination of load of each individual FP
- Handover frequency for each FP
- Number of connection abortions
14
This counter is incremented when a connection is aborted from the viewpoint of the FP. Possibly the
PP may succeed in carrying out a hand-over to another FP after the connection has been aborted.
15
This counter is incremented every 10 seconds if the FP is not able to synchronise itself to the synchro-
nization signal transmitted by the PABX and/or if the FP does not receive any synchronization signal
from the PABX. Every time the counter is incremented, an error message is transmitted to the PABX. If
an active FP no longer receives any synchronization signal, this counter is incremented 5 times
before the FP deactivates itself. If an FP cannot synchronize itself while it is being started up, the
counter is incremented every 10 seconds for an undefined period until either a synchronization
signal which can be evaluated is received or the FP receives a reset command from the PABX again.
16
This counter is incremented when the FP deactivates itself because synchronization is not possible (cf.
counter 15).
17
This counter is always incremented when an error in the FP software has occurred which is so serious
that an automatic reset of the FP is effected by the watchdog module in the FP.
When the number on this counter increases frequently and the possibility of a hardware defect in the
FP has been excluded, you should contact the technical support department.
Please note that this counter cannot be reset by the DECT-Moni-program. In order to test the counter,
make a note of the counter status and then check it again later on.
