Description varix 200/varix 14 (DECT)
5 Programming the system
5.2
Comfort mode
In comfort mode, programming is carried out via the SPECIAL/DECT/... menu items.
Here, first enter all necessary data in the first screen (central DECT data).
Then configure the fixed parts, using the menu items accessed by HW/subsequent config.
Finally, in the SPECIAL/DECT/Fixed Parts, the fixed parts may be assigned to and configu-
red in groups and classes.
Further instructions are given in the varix 200/14 System Manual, chapter 6.
Important note:
After the system has been programmed, the portable part must be logged (enrolled) into
the base station (fixed part) once. This will cause the identification codes IPEI, AC, UAK,
PARK and TPUI to be transmitted. You must enrol the PP individually on each PABX system
(up to four are possible) in which you intend to use it.
For instructions on the required procedures, please refer to the varix M2 operating manual,
chapter on "local settings", menu item REGISTRATION.
