Alternative Method
1.
An alternative method is to use Windows Explorer and go
to the
C:\Windows\inf
directory and scroll to the file
DAVIS_TECH_COM

Right mouse Click and then Click >
Install
3.
You should get a confirmation that the driver installed and
loaded.
4.
Once the driv
er is verified it’s installed and loaded, it’s a
good idea to go to the
Device Manager
, find the
Davis
COM Port
and check the settings. The
default
COM port
settings will work with the Profiler.
Right Click on the
Davis COM Port
name to get the
Properties
menu.
