The ARP section includes Static ARP Settings and ARP Table.
Static ARP Settings
The Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is a TCP/IP protocol that converts IP addresses into physical addresses. This
table allows network managers to view, define, modify and delete ARP information for specific devices. Static entries
can be defined in the ARP Table. When static entries are defined, a permanent entry is entered and is used to
translate IP address to MAC addresses.

The following fields can be set:
Parameter
Description
ARP Aging Time
(0-65535)
The user may globally set the maximum amount of time, in minutes, that an Address
Resolution Protocol (ARP) entry can remain in the Switch’s ARP table, without being
accessed, before it is dropped from the table. The value may be set in the range of 0-65535
minutes with a default setting of 20 minutes.
IP Address
The IP address of the ARP entry.
