MAC Address Table
This allows the Switch's dynamic and static MAC address forwarding table to be viewed. When the Switch learns an
association between a MAC address and a port number, or static MAC address, it makes an entry into its forwarding
table. These entries are then used to forward packets through the Switch.
To view this window, click
L2 Features > FDB > MAC Address Table
,
as shown below:

The fields that can be configured are described below:
Parameter Description
Port
The port to which the MAC address below corresponds.
VLAN Name
Enter a VLAN Name for the forwarding table to be browsed by.
MAC Address
Enter a MAC address for the forwarding table to be browsed by.
Security
Tick this check box to enable the security function. This displays the FDB entries that are
created by the security module.
Find
Allows the user to move to a sector of the database corresponding to a user defined port,
VLAN, or MAC address.
Clear All Dynamic
Entries
Clicking this button will allow the user to delete all dynamic entries of the address table.
View All Entry
Clicking this button will allow the user to view all entries of the address table.
Add to Static MAC
table
Click on this button to add entry to the Static MAC table.
