Scheduling Settings
The Scheduling Settings section includes QoS Scheduling Settings and QoS Scheduling Mechanism.
QoS Scheduling Settings
This window allows the user to configure the way the Switch will set the specified class per port to strict or weighted
round robin.
To view this window, click
QoS > Scheduling Settings > QoS Scheduling
,
as shown below:

The following parameters can be configured:
Parameter Description
From Port /To Port
Enter the port or port list you wish to configure.
Class ID
Select the Class ID, from
0
to
7
, to configure for the QoS parameters.
Scheduling
Mechanism
Strict
– The highest class of service is the first to process traffic. That is, the highest class of
service will finish before other queues empty.
Weight
– Use the weighted round-robin (
WRR
) algorithm to handle packets in an even
distribution in priority classes of service. When
Weight
is selected, a field appears next to this
field for the user to specify the maximum number of packets. For weighted round-robin
queuing, the number of packets sent from each priority queue depends upon the assigned
weight. The value is ranged from 1 to 127.
