Gas connection position, see point (J) in the
connection plan.
Parts sealed by the manufacturer or his
representative may not be changed by the
installer.
•
The installation of this CONVOTHERM
combi steamer must only be carried out
by an authorised installation contractor
working for the appropriate gas
supplier.
•
The combi steamer is adjusted at the
factory to the specifications ordered by
the customer à see gas data label on
the rating plate

The gas type, gas pressure and the
capacity of the connection must agree
with the rating plate
•
For the position of the gas connection
(exterior screw thread), see point (J) in
the connection plan.
•
There must be a gas shut-off valve
installed by the customer that is easily
accessible. The gas shut-off valve must
not be located within the minimum
safety clearances.
•
Always observe local gas supply
regulations. (In Germany: the Technical
Rules relating to Gas Installations
(TRGI) and the Technical Rule relating
to Liquid Gas (TRF) as well as the
DWGW Work Sheets G634 and G21).
•
All customer-supplied connection parts
must be approved. (In Germany:
according to DIN-DVGW).
•
If operating with liquid gas, the
installation of the combi steamer below
ground level is prohibited.
•
The gas installation must be in
accordance with the regulations
specific to that country.
•
This unit is designed to be installed with
an on-site fixed connection.
•
If a flexible gas pipe is used, use
DVGW approved stainless steel hoses.
The connection pipe must be at least
¾“.
•
A gas connection with a gas socket is
also possible.
•
Check that all connections outside and
inside the unit are gas tight (using a
gas detector or foaming spray).
Attention: Do not spray foaming
spray on the flame monitoring
control's wires.
•
Danger of an explosion when there is a
smell of gas.

immediately shut off the gas supply

ventilate the room thoroughly

Avoid sparks (i.e. the use of
switches, telephones or using
electrical switch elements) or naked
flame

Inform the gas supplier or the fire
brigade (external telephone)

We recommend yearly maintenance of
the gas components in accordance with
the standards specified

By retrofitting an air baffle (available as
an accessory) all appliances can be
installed as a type B13.
These instructions are only valid if the
international prefix for the corresponding
country appears on the appliance. If the
international prefix does not appear on the
appliance, then refer to the technical
instructions applying to the appliance for
the operating requirements for the
appropriate country.
