Hopper Installation Guide

IMPORTANT:   

Reference your system 
layout drawings for the 
correct cyclone bracket 
bolt pattern usage  

before

 it is installed.

IMPORTANT:   

The optional cyclone  
is designed to be  
connected to the return 
air circuit of the hopper, 
then connected to an 
optional dust collector  
or to the dryer’s air 
inlet.

Installing the Cyclone Dust Collector 

(optional)

To install the cyclone to the hopper:

1 

Determine if the cyclone is a right 
or left mounted version.

 This can be 

determined by the location of the air inlet 
on the cyclone. If the inlet is on the right 
side, the cyclone will be right mounted 
and if it’s in the left side, it will be left 
mounted.  
 

2 

Start to assemble the  
cyclone mounting  
bracket, elbow,  
hose and clamps.

 

NOTE:

  The elbow,  

 

hose and clamps can be  

 

assembled to the cyclone  

 

assembly before or after  

 

cyclone installation on to

Remove the hose from the  
assembly for installation.

Measure the distance from  
the hopper lid (top of the  
hopper) to the top of the flange
