Drop Tube (Hopper Air Outlet) Installation
The hopper drop tube (air outlet tube) can be installed in either of the two places:
•
Top of the hopper (in place of the optional Cyclone Dust Collector
).
•
Top of the Cyclone Dust Collector after the Cyclone is installed on the hopper.
Installation on Top of the Hopper

Determine the position to mount the drop tube on top of the hopper.
NOTE:
Unlike the Cyclone Dust Collector, the drop tube is universal and can be mounted left or right
depending upon preference.

Start to assemble the drop tube elbow, hose
and clamps.

Remove 5/16-inch -18-inch hardware
from
the opening on the top of the hopper.

Loosen the hose clamps and adjust the connecting drop tube elbow as required
inorder to mount the elbow to the top of the hopper.

Reinstall all necessary harware to
secure the drop tube elbow. Ensure
the gasket is mounted in between
the elbow and hopper connections.

Tighten all bolts within the tubing
assemblies with an appropriately-
sized wrench.
Installation on Top of the Cyclone Dust Collector

Start to assemble the drop
tube elbow, hose and clamps.

Remove 5/16-inch -18-inch
hardware
from the opening
on the top of the Cyclone.

Loosen the hose clamps and
adjust the connecting drop
tube elbow as required
inorder to mount the elbow
to the top of the Cyclone.

Reinstall all necessary harware to secure the drop tube elbow. Ensure the
gasket is mounted in between the elbow and the top section of the Cyclone.
5
Tighten all bolts within the tubing assemblies with an
appropriately-sized wrench.
