WARNING
• Do not bypass the sense lead fuse.
3.4. Remove the gray sense lead fuse and check it for continuity with a multimeter set to 200 ohms. The
resistance should be less than 2 ohms.
3.5.
Precedent:
Verify that the 10-gauge red wire from the charger receptacle is connected to the pos-
itive (+) post of battery no. 1
(Figure 3-4, Page 3-5
,
Figure 3-5, Page 3-6
and
Figure 3-6,
Page 3-7)
.
4. Check battery pack voltage.
4.1.
DS, DS Villager 4, 800, 810 and 850:
With a multimeter set to 200 volts DC, measure the voltage
of the battery pack between the positive (+) post of battery no. 1 and the negative (–) post of battery
no. 4
(Figure 3-14, Page 3-19)
.
4.2.
Turf 1, Carryall 1 and Limo:
With a multimeter set to 200 volts DC, measure the voltage of the bat-
tery pack between the positive (+) post of battery no. 1 and the negative (–) post of battery no. 6
(Figure 3-15, Page 3-19
and
Figure 3-16, Page 3-19)
