LiveWire API license
With the LiveWire API license the tool can be programmed and operated via software S168684 (optionally
available). A controller is not required for this.

Symbol
Description
In the license menu all available licenses are displayed with an expiration date. The
background color of the date indicates the status:
Color
Display
Description
White
Date
The license is invalid.
White
-
The date of the license is invalid, e.g. 31.02.2020.
White
31.12.9999
This date is displayed if there is no expiration date.
Yellow
Date
The expiration date has passed and the license is
no longer valid.
Installing LiveWire API license
The LiveWire API license is an
*.xml
file that is installed on the tool like a software update.

Save the LiveWire API license on a USB stick and perform a software update,
see chapter 3.11.7

After installation, restart the tool.
Uninstalling the LiveWire API license
A LiveWire API license cannot be uninstalled or transferred to another tool. The LiveWire API license can
only be deleted if the tool is reset to factory settings.
To use a newer license, install it on the tool. The tool always uses the license with the newest date.
