name
Use the name Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode command to name a VLAN.
Use the no form of this command to remove the VLAN name. This is the same as
using the vlan command with the name parameter.
Syntax

no name
Parameters
string—Specifies a unique name associated with this VLAN. (Length: 1–32
characters)
Default Configuration
No name is defined.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode. It cannot be configured for a range of
interfaces (range context).
User Guidelines
The VLAN name must be unique.
Example
The following example assigns VLAN 19 the name Marketing.

interface vlan
19
Console(config-if)#

switchport protected-port
Use the switchport protected-port Interface Configuration mode command to
isolate Unicast, Multicast, and Broadcast traffic at Layer 2 from other protected
ports on the same switch. Use the no form of this command to disable protection
on the port.
