logging on
Use the logging on Global Configuration mode command to control error message
logging. This command sends debug or error messages asynchronously to
designated locations. Use the no form of this command to disable the logging.

Message logging is enabled.

User Guidelines
The logging process controls the logging messages distribution at various
destinations, such as the logging buffer, logging file or SYSLOG server. Logging on
and off at these destinations can be individually configured using the
,
Global Configuration mode commands.
However, if the
command is disabled, no messages are sent to these
destinations. Only the console receives messages.
