Switch Features
SFP modules for Gigabit Ethernet connections, or X2 modules for 10-Gigabit
Ethernet connections. Refer to the installation note for your supervisor engine for
more details on these modules.
Slot 1 is reserved for the supervisor engine only, which provides switching, local
and remote management, and switch-status monitoring. Slots 2 through 6 are
available for switching modules.
