Removing and Replacing the Power Supply
This section describes how to remove and install the AC-input power supply and
DC-input power supply for the Catalyst 4500 series switches. This information is

Warning

notice the location of the captive installation screws.
Note
The power supplies are hot-swappable, so in redundant mode you will not need to
power down the switch to replace or upgrade most power supplies. In combined
mode some slots may lose power during an upgrade or power supply replacement.
