To add a static IP source binding entry, use the
ip source binding
command. Use the
no
form of this command
to delete a static IP source binding entry
ip source binding mac-address vlan vlan-id ip-address interface interface-id
no ip source binding mac-address vlan vlan-id ip-address interface interface-id
Syntax Description
Binding MAC address.
mac-address
Specifies the Layer 2 VLAN
identification; valid values are from
1 to 4094.
vlan vlan-id
Binding IP address.
ip-address
ID of the physical interface.
interface interface-id

No IP source bindings are configured.

Usage Guidelines
You can use this command to add a static IP source binding entry only.
The
no
format deletes the corresponding IP source binding entry. It requires the exact match of all required
parameter in order for the deletion to be successful. Note that each static IP binding entry is keyed by a MAC
address and a VLAN number. If the command contains the existing MAC address and VLAN number, the
existing binding entry is updated with the new parameters instead of creating a separate binding entry.
