5.6.15 Fold Mirror 2
The second fold mirror is located underneath the IOS.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 1 hour/15 minutes; includes 10 minute calibration)
1. Remove top lid. Refer to
5.5.5 Top Lid, on page 5-7
.
2. Remove IOS. Refer to
5.6.17 Illumination Optic System (IOS), on page 5-52
.
3. Remove one of the 2.5mm screws from each of the three tabs on fold mirror 2.
4. Loosen the remaining 2.5mm screws from each of the three tabs.
5. Hold the mirror in place and swing the tabs out to the side.
6. Carefully lower the mirror to remove it.
7. Reverse the above steps to reinstall.
NOTE:
When installing ensure the reflective surface faces inwards.
(Figure 5-75).
8. Power up the projector and align the fold mirror. For details, refer to
