5.6.14 Fold Mirror 1
NOTICE:
Wear gloves when handling the fold mirror.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 20 minutes; includes 10 minute calibration)
Fold Mirror 1 is accessed from the front left-corner of the projector. The alignment screws are positioned along
the top of the light tube, which allows them to be easily adjusted.
1. Remove the top lid. Refer to
5.5.5 Top Lid, on page 5-7
.
2. Remove the side skin service door. Refer to
5.5.11 Exhaust Panel Skin, on page 5-10
.
3. Remove the contrast aperture. Refer to
5.6.11 Contrast Aperture, on page 5-48
.
4. Remove the light sensor module. Refer to
5.6.12 Light Sensor Module, on page 5-48
.
5. Loosen the 2.5mm locking hex screw and remove the two 2.5mm hex screws securing fold mirror 1 to the
bracket (
Figure 5-74
).
6. Remove fold mirror 1.
7. Reverse the above steps to install fold mirror.
NOTE:
When installing, ensure that the reflective surface
faces inwards (Figure 5-75).
