5.6.13 Cold Mirror
UV HAZARD!
Always wear protective safety clothing and a face shield when performing
service with the safety shield removed and a lamp installed.
NOTICE:
Wear gloves when handling the cold mirror.
The cold mirror is the first bend in the optical path.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 40 minutes; includes 30 minute cali-
bration)
1. Remove the top lid. Refer to
5.5.5 Top Lid, on page 5-7
.
2. Remove safety shield. Refer to
5.5.12 Safety Shield, on page 5-10
.
3. Remove the side skin service door. Refer to
5.5.11 Exhaust Panel

.
4. Remove the three PEM nuts securing the heat sink over the cold
mirror (
Figure 5-71
).
5. Use a 2mm hex key to loosen the bottom two hex screws and to
remove the top two hex screws and clips (
Figure 5-72
).
6. Grab the top corners of the mirror, pull up and out.
