5.5.9 Side Skin Service Door
The side skin service door allows access to the Low Voltage Power Supply (LVPS), Radiator Filter, Integrator,
Fold Mirror and Liquid Cooling assemblies.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 10 minutes)
1. Remove the top lid. For details, refer to
5.5.5
Top Lid, on page 5-7
.
2. Use a #2 Phillips
™
screwdriver to remove the
two screws from the inside of the door (
Figure
5-9
).
3. To remove the door disengage the skin from the
two snap tabs.
4. Reverse the above steps to re-install the skin.
5.5.10 Lamp Door
UV HAZARD! Wear authorized protec-
tive clothing (P/N:598900-095) whenever
the internal lamp door is opened.
Located on the inside of the rear access door is a
duct for transporting air from the blower to the lamp
compartment and a 5mm hex key to tighten/loosen
the lamp cathode clamp.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 40 minutes)
1. Unlock the rear door using the low security key.
2. Remove the c-clip from the right-side hinge of the rear door (
Figure 5-10/B
).
3. Slide the pivot rod out from the left-side (
Figure 5-10/A
).
4. Reverse the above steps to reinstall.
NOTE:
When replacing the lamp door ensure the airflow duct and
hex key holder are removed and installed onto the replacement door.
