Setting the port monitor
monitor <port no.>

Note: the port no. should be betweem 1-26, and be monitored port can’t include the port no which is monitor

6.4.7 Example of setting the port mirroring
Suppose that

s port 1 has linked host A and host B, and A’s MAC is 00:00:00:00:01:01, B’s MAC is
00:00:00:00:01:02, and C is the manage host, linked on the port 3.Now we can setting like such this as below to achieve that
C can monitor the data bag which A flow to switch.
1):Enter the setting menu of port mirroring:
Switch# mirror
Switch(mirror)#
2): Open the function of port mirror:
Switch(mirror)# enable
3):Setting the monitor’s port:
Switch(mirror)# monitor 3
4):Setting the be monitored’s port:
Switch(mirror)# source 1
5): Setting the MAC which be monitored:
