1. Air Temperature Selector
This knob controls the tempera-
ture.
Turn the temperature knob to
the red area for warmer air or
to the blue area for cooler air.

2. Fan Speed Selector
Turn the knob to the right to
increase fan speed, or to the
left to decrease fan speed.
There are five fan speed set-
tings:
OFF

.
3. Air Outlet Selector
Turn the knob to direct air flow
through the desired outlets.
Off Setting
Turning the Fan Speed Selector all
the way to the left turns the system
off. However, outside air still
comes into the vehicle when it is
moving.
Ventilation
Use
to direct airflow through
the instrument panel outlets.
Blending
Use
to direct airflow through
both the instrument panel outlets
and the floor outlets.
Heating
Use
to direct most of the airflow
through the floor outlets, with
some air going to the windshield
and side window defroster outlets.
Heating/Defogging
Use
to direct airflow through the
windshield and side window defrost-
er outlets and the floor outlets.
Defrosting
Use
to direct airflow through
the windshield and side window
defroster outlets.
Recirculation
Slide the lever
to
to recir-
culate the air in your vehicle. This
is useful for keeping the dust out
or when quick heating or cooling
is desired.
Don’t use this setting for an
extended period of time because it
may fog up the windows.
Slide the lever to
to circulate
outside air into your vehicle.
A/C Compressor Button
(If equipped)
Press
to turn the air condition-
ing compressor on.
The engine must be running in
order for this feature to work.
The indicator light in the button
should turn on.
Adjust the fan speed.
Note:
The fan must be turned on for
the air conditioning compressor
to work.
