• Avoid searching for change
when approaching toll booths.
• Avoid answering or making
phone calls on your cellular
phone.
Legislation has been enacted or
is under consideration in some
countries prohibiting the use of
hand-held phones while oper-
ating a motor vehicle.
CAUTION
Failure to follow these precau-
tions can result in injuries or
even death in the case of a colli-
sion.
Exhaust Warnings
For important safety information,
see the section titled "Important
Safety Precautions".
CAUTION
Do not idle the engine in a
closed-in place, such as the
garage. Carbon monoxide
(CO) gas could get into your
vehicle.
Idling the engine even in an
open area for any amount of
time may allow dangerous
exhaust fumes into your vehi-
cle. Turn the fan on using any
setting that brings outside air
into the vehicle.
Do not stay in a parked or
stopped vehicle with the
engine running for an extended
period of time.
CAUTION
Be sure to seal any unused top
strap anchor location with the
supplied plug or with a suitable
bolt.
Otherwise, deadly exhaust gas
could get into your vehicle.
See "Top Strap" under "Child
Restraints" in section 3.
