Power Windows
(If equipped)
The ignition must be on for this
feature to work.
Power window switches on the
driver’s door control each of the
windows in the vehicle.
Each passenger door has a control
switch for its own window.
To lower the window, press the
switch.
To raise the window, pull up on
the front of the switch.
Release the switch when the
window reaches the desired posi-
tion.
The rear windows do not open
fully.
CAUTION
Do not leave children in the
vehicle with the ignition key.
They could operate the power
windows or other controls and
could even make the vehicle
move. A child or others could
be injured or even killed.
CAUTION
Children can operate and
become entrapped in power
windows. Serious injury or
death can occur. Do not allow
children to play with power
window switches.
When children are riding in the
vehicle, use the window lockout
feature to prevent them from

DOORS
CAUTION
Unlocked doors can be danger-
ous.
• Passengers - especially chil-
dren - can easily open the
doors and fall out of a moving
vehicle if the doors are left
unlocked.
• Young children who get into
unlocked vehicles may be
unable to get out. A child
could be overcome by
extreme heat and could suffer
permanent injuries or even
death from heat stroke.
Always lock your vehicle
whenever you leave it.
CAUTION
(Continued)
• If the doors are unlocked,
your chances of being thrown
out of the vehicle in a crash
are increased. Wear your seat
belts properly and lock the
doors whenever you drive.
• Locking your doors when you
drive can help prevent
unwanted outsiders from
entering your vehicle when
you slow down or stop the
vehicle.
