To use this feature, do the follow-
ing:
1. Press
AM/FM
repeatedly to
select the desired radio band.
2. Press and hold the
SEEK/AST
button
for two seconds
until
AUTO SCANNING
(auto
scanning) appears on the dis-
play.
SCANNING
(scanning) will
flash on the display.
3. The radio will automatically
search the band and store the
six radio stations with the
strongest reception on preset
buttons
1
through
6
in the
selected autostore band (FM-A
or AM-A).
As a station is stored, its fre-
quency will temporarily flash
on the display.
4. Once the stations are stored,
the radio will switch to FM1
and the first preset station will
begin to play.
FM-A
will appear on the dis-
play when you are listening to
the autostore stations.
5. Press
AM/FM
to stop this
feature.
Cassette Tape Player
Insert the cassette with the tape
visible to the right.
LOAD
will appear on the display.
PLAY
will appear when a tape is
active.
Source Selection
Press
AM/FM
to stop playing
the cassette or disc and switch to
the radio.
Press
CD/AUX
to stop playing
the cassette and switch to a disc.
Press
TAPE
to restart the
cassette.

When listening to a cassette tape,

to switch to the
other side.

To reduce background noise on
Dolby encoded tapes, press
