ERROR MESSAGES
If
CHECK CD
appears and/or the
disc comes out, it means there is
an error. The cause may be
extreme heat, rough road, mois-
ture or a damaged or improperly
loaded disc. The disc may not play
or it may eject. Unless the disc is
damaged, it will play when condi-
tions are back to normal.
A disc error may also occur under
any of the following conditions:
• The disc format is not compati-
ble with the player.
• There was a problem while
burning the disc.
• A paper disc label is caught in
the disc player.
If a disc is not playing correctly for
any other reason, try a known
good disc.
Contact your dealer if any error
occurs repeatedly or if an error
cannot be corrected.
Provide your dealer with any
displayed error codes when servic-
ing your CD player.
