Security System Light
See "Theft Deterrent System" in
Section 3 for information.
Digital Clock (If equipped)
With the ignition in the accessory
or on position, the digital clock
displays the time.
To set the clock:
• Press and hold
H to change the
hour.
• Press and hold M to change
the minutes.
• To reset the clock to the near-
est hour, press S .
Remember to reset the clock each
time you disconnect and then
reconnect the battery or replace a
fuse.

Heating and Air
Conditioning System (If
equipped)
Your vehicle may be equipped
with a heating and air condition-
ing system. See "Heating and Air
Conditioning" later in this section
for more information on how to
operate the system.
Sound System

section, to find out how to operate
your vehicle's radio.

Hazard Warning Flasher
Control
The hazard warning flasher control
is located at the center of the
instrument panel.
See "Lights" later in this section for
more information.
Hood Release
Use the hood release handle,
located on the lower, driver's side
of the instrument panel, to open
the hood. See Section 4 for more
information.
Fuel Door Release
Pull up the release lever located
near the front corner of the driver's
seat.
See "Fuel Door Release" in Section
4 for more information.
Rear Hatch Release
(If equipped)
With this option you can open the
hatch from inside your vehicle.
Pull up the release lever located
near the front corner of the driver's
seat.
See "Rear Cargo Area" later in this
section.
Parking Brake/Release
The parking brake lever is located
between the front seats. The lever
is used to set and release the park-
ing brake.
See "Parking Brake" in Section 3 for
information on how to properly
set and release the parking brake.

LIGHTS
CAUTION
Make sure all exterior light
bulbs, lamps, signaling systems,
and warning indicators are
clean and working properly to
avoid accidents that could
result in personal injury or
damage to the vehicle.
Lights Main Switch
The main light controls are located
on the exterior lights control lever.
The main light switch controls
these light systems:
• Headlights
• Taillights
• Parking lights
• License lights
• Instrument panel lights
