Chassis Protection
Your vehicle has been equipped with
thermal baffle. Don’t hold painting work on
the thermal baffle, exhaust pipe or the
catalytic converter body or beside them.
Please don’t remove the thermal baffle.
Fuel Consumption
Fuel consumption is influenced by the
following factors:
The above figure shows how the fuel consumption
is influenced by the selection of speed and gear.
Operating at low gear to improve the acceleration
performance will result in the obvious higher fuel
consumption.
Travel distance/ engine temperature
Often cold-start and shot-range travel will result in
obvious increase of the fuel consumption.
Traffic and road conditions
Traffic jam, uphill driving, lots of bends and rough
road all affect the fuel consumption.
Good driving habit
Foresee the danger and keep safety distance from
the front vehicles, which not only can decrease fuel
consumption but reduce the braking abrasion and
noise. In traffic jam or wait for red light in long time,
it is suggested to stop the engine. Since the long
engine idle time will increase fuel consumption.
Vehicle load condition
Increase the load of vehicle will cause higher fuel
consumption.
Vehicle technical condition
Too low tyre pressure or the improper
maintenance of engine & vehicle will result in high
fuel consumption.

Environment Protection
● Travel based on fuel saving and use additional
electrical load only as it is necessary.
● The vehicle can be started before warmed.
● Use the accelerator smoothly.
● Shift to next higher gear as soon as possible
to get faster speed of engine.
● Foresee the traffic condition.
● Turn off the air conditioner and rear windshield
heater if they are unnecessary.
● Check or adjust the tyre pressure regularly.
● Ask the professionals in Chery authorized
service station to do maintenance regularly.
