A/C System
46
The heating effect depends on engine coolant
temperature. After engine is heated, the heating
system can work normally.
To avoid the misting on glass, please set the
blower at low speed position if driving at low
speed.
Please do not blow your body directly by cold wind.
Troubleshooting
Failure of cooling system
●
The environment temperature may be lower than
-1°C.
●
The fuse may burn out.
Check the fuse and replace it if necessary. If the
failure is not caused by fuse, please turn off the
A/C cooling system (turn off “A/C” button) and
send your vehicle to Chery authorized service
station for overhaul.
Low cooling efficiency
Once the low cooling efficiency or low airflow is
found, please turn off the A/C system and ask
technician for overhaul.
Defrosting of Rear Windshield &
Rear-view Mirror
The rear windshield and rear-view mirror heating
control switch is located on central control panel of
instrument panel. Pressing the defrosting heating
switch can eliminate the thin ice or mist on glass.
The rear windshield and rear-view mirror heater
can work after turning on ignition switch; the
heating system is controlled by pressing the
electric heating switch. After the heater is working,
the working indicator on the switch will be lit to
indicate working status.
After the defrosting continues for 15±3 minutes or
turn off the ignition switch; the rear windshield
defrosting will be turned off automatically. If you
stop the rear windshield defrosting manually less
than 15±3 minutes, please press the defrosting
switch again and the corresponding indicating light
will go off.
After the rear windshield defrosting works, the
exterior rear-view mirror heater is also working.
If the defrosting switch is pressed before engine
starting, the defrosting function works; but the
defrosting will stop working after engine starting.
Precautions of A/C System Operation
To extend the service lift of A/C system, please pay
attention as following:
1. When operating the A/C for cooling, please
turn off the compressor 2-3 minutes before
vehicle stopping and let the blower continue
working (it’s better to select the external
circulation mode, since outside temperature is
higher and the condensed water on surface of
condenser core can be dry quickly), to dry up
the condensed water on surface of condenser
core.
2.
When operating the A/C for cooling, in case the
outside air is not clean or smells bad, please
switch to internal circulation mode timely.
Once the rear windshield gets clear,
please turn off the heater to save the power.
