Reverse Radar
The vehicle reverse radar system is combined by three probes and one control module; they work when
vehicle is in reverse gear and show the reversing information on LCD of combined instrument. The
detecting system response way includes buzzer and screen response ways. The relationship between
displayed frequency, displayed distance and actual obstacle distance is as below:
Actual distance (cm)
<35
35~60 61~90 91~150 >150
Buzzing frequency
Long
4Hz
2HZ
1HZ
No buzzing
In operating, please notice the below points:
1
. The detected distance is the shortest distance between obstacle and bumper vertically.
2
. The maximum detecting distance: for standard obstacle, the furthest detecting length is 150cm.
3
. The displayed minimum precision is 5cm; such as if the actual distance is 34cm which displays as
30cm; if the actual distance is 36cm which displays as 35cm; the default distance unit is m.
Displayed symbol meaning:
1
. The nearest obstacle is at left side, displays as L
2.
The nearest obstacle is at right side and displays as R.
3
. The nearest obstacle is at left central or right central; displays as C.
4
. The LCD displays the nearest distance between any probes to obstacle. Note: for safety, the reversing
speed shall be less than 5km/h.
