Gear P Unlock Button Cover
For AT model QR425AHA, turn off ignition switch
and set gearshift lever in position P; then pry out
this cover and press the inside gear P unlock
button by tool (such as screwdriver), then you can
move gearshift lever without stepping brake pedal.
R =reverse gear
Please select this gear position when reversing.
N = neutral gear
This gear position only can be selected when
starting up engine or at idle speed. Then no power
is transferred to driving wheel.
D = driving gear
It is the normal position of gearshift lever in driving.
Manual Gear shifting Mode
Only after gearshift lever is set in position D can
switch into manual gear shifting mode.
Push the gearshift lever rightwards in position to
switch into manual gear shifting mode.
Under manual gear shifting mode, if push the
gearshift lever t, transmission will select
to higher gear position; if push the gearshift lever
t, transmission will select to lower gear
position.
Under manual gear shifting mode, up shifting can
be operated under any vehicle speed; but
downshifting only can be operated if vehicle speed
permits.
Gear Position Display
After turning on ignition switch, the gearshift lever
position is displayed on instrument panel central
screen.
Gear Positions:
Position P
Position R
Position N
Position D
MT Mode
In MT mode, the gear position that selected by
driver will be shown in digital form by display
screen. E.g. the 2
nd
gear is shown as the figure.
This gear position only can be
selected when vehicle is fully stopped and
engine runs in idle speed.
