2. Setting of audio meter
The audio meter of 4992Ahas four test functions: frequency, voltage, SINAD and distortion.
It is designed for the frequency, AC voltage and distortion analysis and measurement of external
audio signals. The user should estimate the level range of the input signal and select the
appropriate range.

Window opening: open the audio meter window by pressing the [Audio] hard key or pressing
the [Measurement] hard key and setting the instrument menu, and press the [Full Screen]
hard key in the lower part of the screen to maximize this window, as shown below.

Menu calling: click the touch screen, select the audio meter window, and the relevant setting
menu will pop up in the right side.

Measurement setting: select the appropriate input impedance and range, click “easure on the
touch screen or the [Range] soft key in the right menu, and set the range as shown in Fig.
4-30.

Click [Impedance] on the touch screen, and select the appropriate input impedance. The set
impedance is as shown in Fig. 4-31.
