in the right side of the window is available only when “External Audio” is selected.

Internal audio modulation: for the internal audio signal, directly click the corresponding
parameters in the window, or click the [Internal Audio Setting] in the right menu of the
window to enter the menu of next level to set the internal audio modulation. As shown
in Fig. 4-2, the modulation source is “Internal Audio”, the modulation type is “AM”,
and the modulation depth is “30%”.

External MIC modulation: for the external MIC signal, the audio signal collected by
MIC in the audio box is used as the modulation input. The modulated output can be
realized after the modulation type is selected.
3.RF Source 2
RF Source 2 of 4992A is only for the output of ANT port.

Open the window: open and select the RF source window by pressing [Receiver] or pressing
[Measurement] and setting the instrument menu. Press [Full Screen] in the lower part of the
screen to maximize the window, as shown in Fig. 4-3.

Call the menu: click the touch screen, select the window of Source 2 as the current active
window, and the corresponding menu will pop up in the right side of the window, as shown
in Fig. 4-3.

Set the output port of Source 2: only the ANT port is for output of RF Source 2. If RF Source
2 is ON, ANT will be automatically selected as the output port.

Set the frequency of Source 2: click the corresponding frequency of RF Source 2 in the
window, and set the output frequency of Source 2, or click the [Frequency] soft key in the
right menu, and set the output frequency of Source 2 with number keys. The setting range of
the output frequency of RF Source 2 is 2MHz to 400MHz.

Set the power of Source 2: click the corresponding power of RF Source 2 in the window, and
set the output power of Source 2 with number keys, or click the [Power] soft key in the right
menu and set the output power of Source 2 with number keys. The setting range of the output
power of RF Source 2 is -100dBm to 0dBm.
 RF Source 2 ON/OFF: click “RF Source 2” in the window to control the ON/OFF state of RF
Source 2, or click [RF Source 2] in the right menu to control the ON/OFF state of RF Source
2. If RF Source 2 is ON, the font in the window will be displayed in green, and the current
status of RF Source 2 will be displayed in the [RF Source 2 OFF ON] soft key of the right
Source 2 ON OFF
