Set the step: click the [Frequency step] soft key of the right menu of the window to enter the
menu of next level, and set the frequency step and amplitude step. After step setting, select
the output frequency or output power. If the knob is rotated or [↑] or [↓] is pressed, the
current frequency or power will change according to the set step value.
CAUTION:
We are sorry that 4992A Radio Test Set includes the 50MHz clock
signal, and due to the size limitation, the influence on the output channel
of the RF source cannot be completely eliminated and the above signal
is the main source of stray signal of the instrument. In addition to the
influence on Source 1, the channel of Source 2 will be affected if Source
1 and 2 are opened at the same time, although the radiation can meet the
stray indicator requirements. If the frequency signal that is not the
integer times of 50MHz is outputted by Source 1 and the set power is
0dBm, the typical value of the measured stray signal of 50MHz or its
integer times will be less than -70dBc. Therefore, special attention
should be paid to the frequency signal that is vulnerable to interference.
